Foundation Stage (1:1 Tuition)

Our one to one, foundation stage, tuition is designed for students who need individual support, structure, and confidence-building in Maths. Whether your child is struggling with key concepts, lacking confidence, or feeling overwhelmed, one-to-one tuition provides the space and guidance they need to make steady progress.

Who This Is For

  • Is your child working below their target grade?
  • Do they find mathematics difficult or overwhelming?
  • Have they got gaps in foundational knowledge?
  • Do they need personalised support and guidance?
  • Do they lack confidence when approaching questions?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions then the foundation stage will be suitable for your child.

What We Focus On

Lessons are tailored to focus on:

  • strengthening core mathematical understanding,
  • identifying and addressing knowledge gaps,
  • building confidence step by step,
  • developing clear problem-solving methods, and
  • improving exam technique over time.

Lesson Delivery

Lessons are delivered online. They are structured around your child’s individual needs. Our lessons will be in a calm, focused, environment to support learning. And, there will be ongoing guidance during the lessons to build independence.

Independent Practice

Students are encouraged to complete independent practice between sessions using past exam questions and structured resources. This helps to reinforce learning and build confidence.

They are also welcome to bring any questions to lessons, where we work through them together.

Curriculum Coverage

Support is tailored to your child’s relevant exam board. We cover the following exam boards and levels:

GCSE Mathematics

AQA, Edexcel, OCR

IGCSE Mathematics

The Outcome
