Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions apply to all tuition services provided by Najma The Maths Tutor. By booking a consultation or enrolling in tuition, you agree to these Terms.

2. Who Our Services Are For

Tuition is provided to GCSE and A-Level students.
All bookings, payments, and communication must be handled by a parent or legal guardian.

Students under the age of 18 may only participate in tuition with parental consent.

3. Tuition Delivery

Tuition is delivered online (via platforms such as Lessonspace) or in the format agreed at the time of booking.

Lessons may be provided on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, depending on the agreed tuition pathway. Najma The Maths Tutor reserves the right to recommend the most appropriate format based on a student’s readiness and progress.

Tuition may be delivered by Najma Mohamed or by associate tutors working on behalf of Najma The Maths Tutor. All tutors operate in accordance with the same professional, safeguarding, and conduct standards.

4. Payments

• Fees will be clearly explained before tuition begins
• Payment is required in advance, unless otherwise agreed
• Payments are processed securely via Bank Transfer

Tuition will not commence until payment has been received.

5. Cancellations and Missed Lessons

• • Lessons must be cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice
  • Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full
  • Missed lessons without notice are not refundable

Exceptions may be made at our discretion in genuine emergencies.

6. Refunds

Refunds are not guaranteed and are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Where a package or block of lessons has been purchased, unused sessions are generally non-refundable once tuition has begun, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Student Expectations

Students are expected to:

• • Attend lessons on time
  • Engage respectfully and appropriately
  • Complete agreed work to the best of their ability

Persistent disruption or inappropriate behaviour may result in tuition being paused or withdrawn.

8. Resources and Intellectual Property

All worksheets, lesson materials, and resources provided remain the intellectual property of Najma The Maths Tutor.

These materials are for personal educational use only and may not be shared, copied, or redistributed without permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

While every effort is made to provide high-quality tuition, Najma The Maths Tutor cannot guarantee specific exam results.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our services, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains how data is collected, stored, and used.

11. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The most recent version will always be available on the website.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
